Mojitos

OK, I know this has appeared before, but I can't locate.... Does anyone know if they are currently able to do mojitos??? A favorite for the 2 of us but the lack of mint or whatever seems to limit availability....

I hear ya, but I'm always amazed whether Dominican Republic Caribe or Desire Cancun that the lack of mint is an issue. Most places can't stop the spread of mint.... Maybe a tropical thing??? :?:

We had several during May. They crush the mint into the drink. Pretty tasty both at the jacuzzi and at the lobby bar.

Make sure you get a 'blended' mojito. They are far better imho. C.C and Carlos make them the best.

What's blended??? Frozen??? Thanks for the great feedback guys. Can't wait to do my own research on 7/27!

As the name would indicate, Blended is when all the ingredients, including the mint are thrown into the blender and it is poured like a slushy. This way there are little bits of mint in every sip. Definitely my favorite drink at Desire, Tied only with Purple rains .

Ask C.C for one and she will show you .... But if memory serves, it was blue curacao and grenadine for the purple colour, with Vodka, Lime & pineapple juice, and club soda to fill. Also served blended.

I like it because I am not a fan of all the sweet drinks that are so common at Desire. Caution though, they Will knock you on your butt after a few in the sun :shock:
