For those younger newbies considering

My wife & I are both in our late 20's and are interested in planning a trip to Desire later this year or early next. We have never been to a clothing optional resort or anything of that sort, ever. We are both nervous and somewhat concerned that we will be the only young ones around and there won't be any couples in our age range (25-35). We have no issues with an older crowd and don't want to seem prude, as we are not. We also realize we should expect most to be in their 40's, 50's and above. Of course from a younger viewpoint we would hope to be able to at least have an opportunity to hang out with people who aren't entirely all our parents age lol (throughout the entire stay at least). Not intending to offend anyone here. We understand everyone is great at Desire and we would mesh just great with all ages.

With that being said...

NEWBIES: Are there any younger newbies out there thinking about a trip to desire? What are your curiosities and concerns? Would anyone be interested in trying to book around the same time to ensure there are at least a few more younger couples during our stay?

VETERANS: any feedback, advice, thoughts, experiences you are willing to share for those in our shoes sharing the same jitters? If we're interested in wanting to witness a wilder time are we best to book at the same time as a lifestylers group? We worry about booking a week long holiday in the nude with grandparents lol we are looking for sexy! We mean no disrespect in what we say.

Thanks for any insight you can provide.

My wife and I are 32 and went last month. There were plenty of 25-35 's there but depends on when you go. It was also our first trip to any place like this and wont be our last. So much fun and options....... Everyone's cool and there is no pressure. Naked, full suit, half suit, no one cares. Wife said it really helped her not give a shit what anyone else thinks and I can see that sense we got back. Go and you'll see what I mean.

We are newbies 29m/29f and going to Desire for first time in Dec 3-10. We totally understand where you are coming from in hoping not to be the only young couple there. We are gonna go with an open mind and expect a great trip with great sexual vibes and environment. We are a bit nervous because those dates are during a lifestyle takeover so we are hoping it doesnt become too much for us to handle as this is our first experience in anything like this. :D

We went to Hedo during a lifestyle week (we were not part of the group). It is definately an eye opener for a first timer, but there was no pressure or negativity. Everyone was very friendly ... they were just in a different league than we were.

No worries...Age means nothing at Desire

Postby Peaches129 » Thu Sep 01, 2011 10:45 pm

My husband and I are 25. We went to Desire this past summer for the first time. It was amazing! We had the best time. As newbies to the resort/ and somewhat the lifestyle (We usually have experiences with people we know, however ventured out to Desire to meet other couples who are in the lifestyle) it took us sometime to settle in. About 2 days. By day 3 we felt 100% comfortable and had met so many amazing people of all ages. There are definitely younger couples there if that is what you are worried about, but honestly we had a blast with everyone. Did not matter at all age. One of our favorite couples was in the their late 50's, but you would never know. Age means nothing. Everyone at Desire is young at heart. We will be going back next summer!!

We are in our early 30's and we are making our second trip to desire from Dec 11th-18th and we thought there was a great mix of ages on our trip at the same time last year. It was our first time going to anything clothing optional and we have to agree with Eastcoasttexans that the diversity of everyone's ages and the comfort level we experienced made our trip that much better. Our first night was EWS and it was the perfect beginning to a truly wonderful and relaxing vacation, we cant wait to get back this year!

These responses are nice to hear! Now we just need to figure out when we should be going!? Do you think we should book when a lifestyle group is booked? Is there generally more fun, excitement, things to see?

We made our first trip there this past August and we are in our early-mid thirties. There were plenty of younger guests while we were there but that didn't really make too much of a difference. We did meet some great people our own age but we also met some really great people that were older than us. Don't worry too much about the age thing... there will be a wide range of ages but everyone is just so friendly and fun that age doesn't really mean too much.

As for booking when there is a group at the resort, it might not matter too much. We arrived while there were two groups at the resort and it never bothered us. In fact, it got a little wilder the night they all left and there was general turn-over at the resort. I think that it can depend entirely on the group that is at the resort as well as the individual couples that are there on their own and are ready for a good time.

Book it! You will not regret going!

My wife and I are looking at booking in January too. One of the things we like about the desire resort it is couples only, so that makes us both more comfortable as everyone is on the same page. We are a young couple (31, 28) and really look forward to doing things out in the open.

My wife would also like to explore a bit with another woman but only her and another woman. Does that happen there? We dont know? Id love to watch though.

So far we both get VERY excited talking about our possible trip, and everything we want to do. I am one lucky man,

It would be nice to connect with other couples going around the same time before hand.

Hey guys, we made our first trip to Desire when we were both 25, and had a lot of the same concerns before we went. Since then, we've made two more trips to Desire, and planning our 4th for this coming January.

We've always been the youngest couple at the resort, but like everyone says, age really doesn't matter down there. The people you'll meet are one of a kind and truly some of the nicest couples you'll ever meet. While we wish we could talk our friends from home in to going with us, there are plenty of new friends to be made in Mexico!

Try joining one of the Yahoo groups to meet people traveling during the same timeframe as you guys, because having a familiar face is nice when you first arrive. While it doesn't always work out that you'll hit it off in person, we were fortunate to meet some friends on our first trip through a group, and we've been traveling together ever since!
