Public "play"

This will be our first trip to Desire, that being said. Where are we allowed to"play' in public?

They will spell it out to you at check in. But the reality is it really doesn’t matter that much because the ‘not allowed’ is never really ‘enforced’. So you’ll see it pretty much everywhere at some point. Your own decision will probably come from your own comfort level rather than rules. So just go with the flow when you get there.

Exactly...you do you. Unless you are in a restaurant...you can do whatever you want, realistically

Since the original question was where is it "allowed"; the answer is in the Play Room or in the Jacuzzi lounge. If you slightly modify the question to where is it OK; well then see answers above.

Unless changed in the last couple of years, the beach is also an ‘allowed area’ at RM - but not at Pearl.

I can say that we had fun at the beach at Pearl. Due to beach erosion , there was no foot traffic and very few guests. It was us and the guys trying to clean up the sea weed and the really bad stench of decaying seaweed. As Ninaandfrank said, if you modify the question to where, then it’s pretty much ok anywhere (we haven;t had fun in the pool area when lounging around, so I wonder if it is - someone suggested we should ask the staff before doing anything) but no issue on the beach.

I think the rules exist to set up boundaries and ground rules just in case and to have a live and let live attitude. Just be respectful and not obnoxious.

Oh, the bed besides the pool at the Pearl Mansion was a fun place if you like to be watched. And the old spa at RM, we had some good times in the shower and changing area, I felt like I was living in a 1970s adult film!

Simply put, I love this place.

I don’t believe the staff either want the hassle or have any strong reason to get involved - unless it’s outrageous or somebody complains, and that must be rare. I don’t think they are ever going to bother two people ‘doing their thing’, unless it’s way over the top.

Totally agree, unless someone complains there is little chance of being stopped by staff.

I guess it my conservative self who doesn't want to get in trouble. And it is also the environment. We went to GL and there people were not doing anything. My wife and I did because we just couldn't our hands off each other by the last day because we got tired of going back to our room - but we were the exception. I asked the bartender and he didn't care. In fact, the bartender really went over the line a few times with the guests and the games were way more risque, so you'd think there would be more public play but there wasn't The extent of the public play was my wife and I and the bartender games. Back to Pearl, I think we're going to be more chilled out when we go, just not sure now if it'll be in January for the third party swingers month (where we'll have no third person in our room but the idea sounds fun) or for back half of December. I wish I could do both. I'm glad this is my addiction and not smoking LOL.
