Eyes Wide Shut or ...?

Just wondering if they still have the EWS ceremony night or have they changed it to the 5 Senses Night? The website still says EWS but maybe someone who has come and gone (since Piglet&Porky posted their great, informative Trip Report) can tell us what's going on for some of the theme nights, in case they have 'deviated' from what's posted on the Desire Website.

I got on an "instant chat" with them last week and they said it was still EWS. Now having said that I think all the guy did was look at the web site himself.

I will be going to desire in the beginning Dec. and its been confirmed that 5 senses will be a theme night and not EWS

We enjoyed 5 senses on our last trip but were expecting EWS. We're hoping it's EWS when we go in February

We haven't participated in the 5 senses - yet, and hope to do so when we are there in January. Sounds like fun! From what I gather, it makes me think of when you enter a fun 'haunted house', you're blindfolded and they make you touch things, smell things, feel things, hear things and then see things. Something for all 5 of your senses.

We are not sure if EWS is on but we just created the ultimate costumes so we are bringing them with us and are going to wear them even if the themes are messed up. We encourage people to bring their outfits especially if you have them from previous years. We are looking forward to meeting some nice like minded couples.

Some folks might enjoy this event - we've witnessed 3 of them and there were, shall we say, varying degrees of enthusiasm within the participant group.

However, if you're not up for being groped by random people you probably don't know and might not be attracted to, we would recommend you stay in the spectator section. :roll:

In our humble opinion, EWS should have been dropped last year.
