2nd Visit
First Visit Feb-11
We are now Premier Members so that should give you a hint about how we feel about Desire.
Arrival - 10Not a single person in line at immigration. Luggage rolls out within minutes, arrive at Desire approx 45 minutes from the time the plane landed. Small hiccup at check-in, room was supposed to be ready but clearly was not, transferred immediately to new room.
Food - 8
Breakfast and Dinner is excellent, great taste and presentation. Lunch got a tad boring as the week went on. Day 5 asked Chef Pedro if he would prepare some pasta for me...15 minutes later a great bowl of Fusilli was at my table...lesson learned don't be afraid to ask. The staff really does all they can do to make your trip enjoyable.
Rooms - 10 Room 2405
Room had lot's of drawer space and may have been recently renovated. Plug-ins scarce - suggestion, take a power bar.
Hot-Tub - 8
Great place to meet and greet however the everchanging water temperature is alittle frustrating. Not sure why this conitues to be a problem.
Observation - On two seperate occassions men clearly on there own were observed in the hot tub without their partners. To each his own, just does not work for us.
Music - 5
Same music by the pool everyday and at the same time no less. The disco music was really hit and miss.
Entertainment - 10
Well done, no real pressure to participate and when you choose to it really did not last that long.
The staff are awesome led by Dianne and Leo (water sports)
Staff - 10++++
They remember you and greet you as an old friend. Always there to do whatever can be done to make your stay enjoyable. CC, Africa, Eldeburto, William, Rod, Leo, Chef Pedro, Sylvia, Diane just to name just a few really are true ambassadors for the resort.
Overall - 9
We enjoyed the resort the second time just as much as the first visit. It will be our adult resort of choice for a long time to come.

Do you know if they were still having the Eyes Wide Shut night or the 5 Senses Night in lieu of it? Maybe we'll bring our own masks, just in case.

Only 18 more days for us and im loving the reports. thanks. I too am curious about the EWS and themes. For the last few days lingerie has been arriving ...definitly not complaining.

Not to sure about EWS. We arrived Thurs and left Wed and I think EWS is Wed night. The other theme nights were awesome.

Tsking911 we have done EYS and it was fun. People kissing touching and just enjoying all the sensulel stuff. Duh!!!! Why do we all go to Desire anyway?? 20 days and counting.
