cost of taxi from Desire to airport and pool/ocean temps

Three quick questions...

1. We have transportation arranged from the airport to Desire with USA who we used and liked last year. On the way back to the airport, we plan on hopping in a taxi. But I can't remember how much it cost... any recent taxi rides from desire to the airport that you can report on?

2. Also, how are the temps in the pool and the ocean right now (jan11)? Wondering what they might be like in a few weeks and trying to decide if we need our rafts...

3. How are the bugs these days?

Posted 2012 taxi rate from Desire to the airport is 400 pesos($40 usd) - however it might be a bit cheaper(350 pesos - 35usd) just ask before you get in the taxi.
