When to go -- First week in April or middle of May?

Ok, ok, we're newbies so yes this is probably a stupid question, but we are trying to figure out when would be the better time to go. We are available and rooms are available April 1 - 6 and May 18 - 23. The May dates include a weekend. Are the weekends more fun? However, April seems to be a busier time, and it certainly seems that the bigger the crowd the more fun it is. What do you think?

Both are good times to go! Yes, the weekends (Thurs - Sun) tend to pick up as groups are transitioning...so we typically do 5 nights starting on a Thursday.

Look on the calendar to see if there any groups going during those times and do a little research to see if that's your style.

Hey if you can check out the ( when are you arriving list). We are going for our 1st time in June, their are lots of newbies in early June along with some good experience.

I'd say the sooner the better. Also, the May dates will probably be a bit on the warm side...

We think the first week in April is the best time to go. But we're a bit biased as we usually go at that time and will be there during that week this year.

Although every trip is fun, going with a group brings up the enjoyment level. You may want to check what groups are going during those weeks and see if you can make contact with them before you go. It's always a blast when you know some people before you get to the resort.

For what its worth, we are traveling with the Swingercast group that first week in April. A great bunch of people.
