Room 1511 or 1512 OV ?

Has anyone stayed in room 1511 or 12 and could you tell me how much room it had and if it had a sit down area for my wife to put on makeup. Or if anyone knows of a better OV room please advise us.
we liked the thought of the balcony, i believe that those two rooms i mentioned had a balcony we had a passion suite last fall and i think these are the rooms we saw. Would appreciate any help.

We just returned from Desire - stayed in room 1512. Both 1512 and 1511 have the (extremely) odd step that runs through the middle of the room. The balcony is nice - but I think nearly all have a balcony (or sitting area). There is no sitting area for applying make-up; the shower is extremely small too. We did however like the location; close to the pool, the lobby, the ocean, etc.
We would (will) try to get a different room next time - hope this helps...

Here are photos of 1612 taken March 2009. We stayed in 1312 this past December and the only difference was that the sink, which is outside the bathroom in these photos, is inside the bathroom, about where the rolled up towels are. In 1312, the rod closet was wider and the shelving was in the space where the sink is. The bonus in 1312 was that there were 5 drawers to put your stuff in. 1511 & 1512 should be similar, but we don't know what the exact closet/shelving/sink layout is.









All the second floor rooms in the four unit buildings share a balcony with their neighbour.

The biggest OV room we ever had (and which we LOVED) was 2203, which had a makeup table & mirror on the wall opposite the king bed. It shares the balcony with the other 4 second floor rooms and the balcony itself functions as the entrance to the rooms, so it's not that private, but there's usually a table and chairs in the centre of the balcony which is right infront of the 03 room, so it almost feels like "yours". We'd assume 2503 would be similar.

2503 is same as your 2203 description and a great choice if you go OV! On the other hand if it's a choice of an extra day or 2 in a GV room - hmmm

We stayed in 1612 last time and it looks pretty similar to pictures earlier in this thread. We liked the location and the view, the shower was small, and there was very little drawer space.

Hello hello. We had 1512, friends had 1511. Identical rooms both with great views of the ocean and a nice private balcony for the four of us.

Bldg 16 identical, but under construction. It looked 70% done when we checked out last week
