First Timers! Too Young?

Hello everyone!

First time poster, but I have been sucked into reading these forums for a while now, daring to think of the possibility of someday venturing to Desire with my (soon-to-be) wife.

I'll start by saying that I am engaged, due to be married on Aug.3, 2012 to my beautiful fiance. At the moment we are discussing our honeymoon options, as we intend to take a nice, long 3 week vacation. My fiance and I have discussed the possibility of heading to Desire for one of those weeks and we would both really like to.

I have read on this forum that the age range that people have seen at Desire are people in their 20's all the way to people in their 70's. We are currently 23. My question to everyone is, would a couple going to Desire at our age be ill-advised by anyone? We aren't swingers (in the full-swap sense), but from what I read on this forum, that part does not sound like a problem at all, as long as we are vocal about what we are comfortable with.

I think you're spot on on your assessment. Just let what you are there be known and honestly my experience when someone asks if you swing was like asking what your favorite color was or something--conversation continues on just like nothing happened. We just went for our ( unfortunately brief) first visit. We are 28/29 and we were definitely on the younger end of the spectrum. We had a great time with people around our age, those 20+ years older than us, swingers, and non-swingers. I'd definitely encourage you to go if you two are interested. We're both 25 and this is going to be our second trip to Desire. Age means very little at Desire. We made friends with people our age as well as in their 60's. Everyone is friendly and no one is pushy. You make what you want of Desire. I would def go for 1 week as part of your honeymoon! It's a very sexually charged environment that will certainly spice things up!

You guys should definitely try Desire, We are late 30's (her) and mid 40's (me) and have been going there for almost 10 years and have had a great time every trip. You'll probably be the youngest people there but there will be folks close to your age and like the other replies said everyone there will be cool to hang out with even if they are a bit older.

It seems Desire occasionally sponsors a week for the younger crowd. Check our their website. Mike or Coke will know for sure

My only piece of advice would be to make sure you book Desire for the last week of your three week vacation. After spending a week nude (amongst doing other things) at Desire, you won’t want anything to do with any other resort. Who wants to wear a wet diaper around the pool?

you will def- be in the minority,by a longshot we have been to desire 12 times and very rarely see couples in their 20s,and if you do they look a little out of place, even during under 40s week it was not common.just being honest,don't mean to bust your bubbles

We agree with kjc. We have rarely seen 20 - something year olds at Desire RM but have seen a few 'younger' folks at Desire Los Cabos.

You may feel like you are honeymooning with your Dad and Mom.

I'm 36 and have been there three times. Age is just a number and you and your fiance will have a blast...
