Private dinner on the beach

Anyone ever have the private dinner on the beach at Desire Cancun? We are going to be there during our anniversary and thought it might be nice to do but we don't know any of the details about it.....where do they have them, whats the dinner choices, what is the added cost, etc.....

Anyone that knows, please enlighten us. Thanks!!

Yes, we have done it with just the two of us and also with a small group of friends. Even though it is marketed as Dinner on the Beach they actually do it in the large Palpa on the northern end of the property at the beach.

It is set up similar to the international (white) restaurant, water, wine glasses, white table cloth, napkins, nice china and cutlery - small portable sound system with quiet dinner music and your own full time waiter.

As to dinner choices you can discuss that when you book however the most popular choices seem to be the beef filet, lobster or the steak and lobster combo.

In regard to pricing, IMHO it is very reasonable for this special treat, I won't quote prices since they may have changed since we where there last almost a year ago.

Hi, all. New to the forum. Been regular Sandals guests for years usually topless on their regular beaches and nekid on their private island optional beach at Sandal Royal Caribbean in Mo'Bay.

Started on our 25th and had our 30th there this year. Always do their private candlelight dinner for 2. Sounds very similar except you get to choose excatly where. Without hesitation I would say go for it - just the two of you - dress up a little "casual elegance" - one of the most romantic things ever.

Not been to Desire yet, but thinking about it hence joining the forum. Similar to most of you, we have regular nudie friends we meet there at Sandals every year (and some prudies). Ready to take it to the next level and had thought about Hedo for a few days next trip with our best friend nudie couple. But I think Desire sounds much better for tons of reasons.

Couldn't give up Sandals completely though - hell no! .... darn, we may have to start going twice a year....
