After many trips to this resort you figure that eventually one of these times you will simply not have as much fun as during prior trips. Let me tell you…Halloween week 2012 was not that trip! This ended up being the best trip yet.
The participation in the theme nights was great with many excellent costumes for the special themes. The energy from everyone was contagious and you could tell how much everyone was enjoying themselves. The disco remained busy each evening into the early morning hours.
The occupancy was at the ideal level. Enough guests to socialize at all of the different meeting places, without being too busy at any one place. The mix of restaurants between the nights allowed you to experience each of the different menus during the week.
The daytime consisted of the normal activities along with live music around the pool. The evening entertainment included a new band with an electric harp player. This was very entertaining to watch and they played a great mix of music that night.
The Cabo resort did a nice touch during the Halloween special event with the staff. They encouraged them to dress up during the special event and then they showed their appreciation for them with a parade around the pool. As a guest, I really enjoy this gesture as it shows how much the resort appreciates the staff and allows the guests to thank everyone that you may not normally come into contact with. This is something unique to Cabo that I have not experienced at any of the other Original resorts.
Visiting Desire for Halloween has become an annual event for us and it is hard to imagine being able to top this week. I guess we have to wait until Halloween 2013 to see what that brings!
