Arrival Question

This will be our 5th time to Desire this April, however do to work obligations we aren't able to travel together.

My wife would rather not wait 5 hours to meet me in Miami for my connection to Cancun. She can fly direct and get there about 6 hours ahead of me and enjoy the afternoon / evening. I know in the past the resort is pretty strick on couples arriving together...

Do they make exceptions? Especially if it's the female arriving first?? And I'd be there the same day just not till later that evening??

This is a question that you will have to ask Desire about directly.

Just as a first concern - hurdle - as you know there are two security check points - one at the gate as you turn off the highway into the Bahia Petempich road and the second at the gated entrance to the Desire RM property. At both check points they have the names of each of the couples that are due for arrival for that day and I would be concerned that if you showed up separately at different times they might not let either of you in...........
