Playroom TV's

does anyone else think they should remove the TV's from the playroom? they are distracting and besides, when you have live action 2 feet from you, do you really need to have x rated tv's? we'd prefer they get rid of them. anyone else?

Totally agree. What could be more erotic than the visual and the sound of someone near you having sex. The TV's are so distracting, unnecessary and their light ruins the ambiance.

Hmm. I have to say we kind of like them. Sometimes we're the first ones in the room and there's no other "scenery." Or sometimes the scenery just isn't quite what we feel like watching!

I think this is one of those issues that just doesn't have a solution. What might be exciting to one individual or couple just isn't to another, in fact, it's a turn-off. We wonder though if it were possible 'to have fewer TV's so the brightness of the their light doesn't spoil the romantic ambiance of the subdued lighting.

I like the idea of the TV's but I think the content could be updated. Granted, we haven't been there for 2 years, but we remember the bad 80's porn. Maybe less TV's but I think they serve purpose.

It would be hilarious if one night they started cutting in Saturday morning cartoon excerpts every so often, just to see who would notice .

In a similar vein, was out with a group of co-workers for lunch a couple of years ago at a local sports themed restaurants when all of the TV's suddenly started showing porn.

The scrambling of the waitstaff was something to behold

Anything that pushes boundaries is ok in my book . I also think the playroom should have one way glass so people in the disco can watch the show

I know exactly how that waitstaff felt when a couple of years ago, I sat down with my two sons (ages 10 and 13) and my wife's 21 year old son, to watch Saturday morning car shows on Spike TV together. The entertainment system was not left in its normal mode of Satellite>AV>TV but rather in the DVD>AV>TV mode and when I fired up the system, the porno the wife and I left in the machine the night before, started right up where we'd left it...60" of full on, close-up, DP, High Def action! In my panic to turn the damn thing off, I dropped the remote and batteries came flying out, so of course I couldn't turn the damn thing off! My wife's son is in the back of the room laughing his ass off; tears running down his face while my two boys were paralyzed with Eyes Wide Open; jaws on the floor!

I think those kids are warped for life! LOL

We've been wanting the TVs gone from the playroom ever since they renovated the playroom a few years ago. At eye level, they are distracting because they are so bright and so large.

Then again, we'd like to renovate the entire room again. Get rid of the dividers and have one long continuous bed/sofa (like it was before the renovation). As it is, it's nearly impossible to see across the room if you're in one of the corners.

Wife likes the dividers. Keeps who u want close and not so open

I agree, the dividers are nice. Wife and i rarely play with others, but enjoy the atmosphere ao having a little separation is nice for the "not as adventurous"

The other challenge with the current layout of the playroom is that the capacity is less than what it probably needs to be. And to be honest, as exciting as the sex swing sounds, we've seen more couples struggle with it than actually use it for any length of time.
