Different kinds of rooms & buildings at Desire RM

just wondering if some of you can let us know what buildings and what Garden / Garden Deluxe rooms are good.

Are there some buildings that have a lot of noise from the staff or pathways?

I see that there are some that have King beds and some that have Queen. Are the King rooms bigger or do they just cram the King bed in the same space?


We were in one room a couple of years ago that had pillars by the bed and the room was pretty big.

Any info would be appreciated.

I can't speak for DRM, but at Pearl the "queen" beds were no bigger than a double bed. We ended up sleeping in different beds.

The ground floor ocean front rooms right in front of the pool get a lot of morning cart noise.

We've always liked 2313. Second floor, quiet, king bed. But now we see it's in the "Deluxe Garden View" category (probably because it has a king bed) rather than the "Standard Garden View" category which looks like they have the queen sized beds.
