My husband and I will be arriving at DRM in about two weeks. We prefer to use only carry on luggage (gets us to the resort faster ). The only problem we have with this is the carry on liquid limits. Does the resort still provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion?

Yes, the resort provides all those things you mention. We always had an over abundance of shampoo - the maids would leave multiple bottles of these things every time they cleaned our room.

We, too, travel only with carry ons. It's the sunscreen that we used to concern ourselves with but as long as we can fit 4 or 5 100 ml bottles of sunscreen in our baggies, it works for us.

Thanks Miranda! When were you there last? I know they had the items last October, just wanted to make sure that was still the case. Sunscreen is what takes our available liquid allotment too (well almost, gotta have a little lube and oil in there too ). I did read on here somewhere that they also have sunscreen that guests have left behind at the beach bar.

When we've been at Pearl, we always leave any left over sunscreen for the entertainment crew. Those guys are out in the sun all day every day and have to provide their own protection at exorbitant Mexican prices. They are always very grateful.

We were last there in November. We, too, have heard about the sunscreen left at the beach bar but have never had to inquire about it. On this past trip we found a bottle of sunscreen on the beach (on our last day so we didn't require it) and left it with the water sports staff.
