Outside my comfort zone...but willing!

This will be out first trip to the Pearl...or any other visit to this type venue. The extent of our "rebelliousness" has been skinny dipping in the private jacuzzi at the condo we rented...at night! Needless to say, there is some apprehension. Neither of us are supermodels. We both have our set of insecurities about our bodies. Nothing new here from what I see from many writings. My intent in this letter is to ask those couples who are new, or relatively new, their opinion on how they felt before and how they felt after their trip. I find my wife to be the most beautiful woman in all settings. She is glamorous, sensual, sexy, innocent, and professional. Her sex appeal is natural to her and she can't see it. We are older (49) and although we both do not look our age, (by FAR) she has the concern that we may visit Pearl and soon realize we missed out flight by ...10 years. I have tried to assure her that this will not be the case and we will be among "Friends" and those who have been in our situation at one time or another. She is worried about her physicality, her ability to be confident if a man or woman looks at her, and her feelings of security. Again, this is outside her comfort zone but she is very interested. Any input from those who are sensitive to what I am saying are encouraged to reply. My hope at the end of this very sensual, sexy trip is that my gorgeous wife see herself as I do...We will be there end of May to first week of June.

You sound just like us-- I am 49 and my wife is 48, I planned the trip the trip to celebrate our 20th anniversary. I asked her if she would be okay with a trip to a CO resort and I described what I had read online-- she agreed BUT she swore she would be wearing a one piece bathing suit and not head to the jacuzzi---

I will skip our day to day schedules and get to the fun stuff. Up until about one month prior to the trip my wife was talking about wearing one piece bathing suits. I did NOT push the issue, just went with the flow. About two weeks out she started asking me what she needed for the disco and if I wanted to help her pick out some new bikinis ! We bought 4 new bikinis and she packed some very HOT lingerie and club wear for the disco. Upon arrival I started to get some butterflies thinking what had I gotten us into-- after check in we went to our room and I walked outside naked. I then put my swim suit on and she put on her bikini and we went to the pool area. At this point (about 5:30) everyone was at the jacuzzi-- I said to her"lets just stay at the pool for you to get your feet wet". She said she would rather go to the jacuzzi--- when we walked up the stairs a couple was having sex in the bed near the stairs. I removed my swim suit and to my surprise she removed her top!! After about a hour in the water she removed her bottoms and wanted to use one of the beds!!!! This fun sexy attitude went on the entire trip, sex outside our room on the bed with people walking by, etc, etc, ETC!!!

I think it came down to not pushing her and letting her go at her own pace. Needless to say, she was topless the rest of the trip and bottomless often. We even entered the Human Sundae contest !!! If anyone would like any info on the disco (I was pulled onto the stage and stipped NAKED by the female police officer!!), restaurants, pool, jacuzzi, etc please feel free to PM me. We were "hit on" by some lifestylers, but a polite statement that we did not swing was acknowledged and never an issue.

At the end of the trip we helped a woman that was having a seizure in the lobby-- We helped her through the seizure but needed to leave her with the staff before the ambulance arrived-- Anyone know how she is doing?? I asked my wife if she would return and I received a "SURE"- Why not from her. We had a GREAT time falling deeper in love after 20 years of marriage.

This was a GREAT trip for us as a couple-- after the first 5 minutes of being naked it seems natural. There are people of all sizes (I could stand to lose 30 pounds!)-- My wife wishes her boobs were bigger, and on and on. The people are great and this place brought us to a different level in our lives-- trust me you will have a ball !!!!

I will be visiting Pearl in October 2015 for the first time and just know I will enjoy meeting so many great people.
I will be with my GF of several years and neither of us are in the lifestyle but we spend every summer in Europe and just love the freedom of being naked with others.
Congratulations on taking the step after 20 years of marriage.

Before. Much cheaper. Much more selection. You get to preview the outfits and "test them out" before hand. Win, win, win.

Speaking for my wife, you definitely want to shop before you get to Desire. You will have an enormous selection/great pricing for dinner/disco wear, and it's lots of fun to shop on the internet as a couple. We have 4 or 5 favored sites. The only problem with most of them is that they are based out of China and it takes about 4 weeks for delivery. The typical difference via this option is $3 vs $20 to $40 an item .... well worth the wait for the very same item(s). We have never had an issue with getting our orders, maybe 30 or 40 of them! As I believe that the blog prefers shopping sites not be stated, you can PM me/us if you would like to know some of our favorites! Another option, you can simply Google stripper clothing, sexy lingerie, sheer clothing, etc. Happy shopping!

Two trips to DRM, not Pearl. Newbies two years ago. Not quite scared to death as we'd NEVER done anything like that before. Had an amazing eye-opening time. absolutely loved it. Went back last year. Had a better time. Six weeks away from our third trip to DRM in May. No expectations for what might happen only that we will have fun.

Be nervous but be open minded. Great fun warm open people. Great fun warm open environment. Have a great time. Let loose. Do things you never imagined if it feels right. There are no judgements. If you want, you'll have a fantastic time.

My answer is simple but very clear. My wife doesn't like the idea of being nude in front of others (Except me ) and when I asked her to go to DRM for the first time, it was a hard battle but she finally said "OK... but don't dream: we won't be back"... I said "Yes, honey"... and we have gone back not once but two times and she accepted her reality: we will be back at least once a year

Desire is special, makes you feel much much in love and makes you feel great because you will see around you all kinds of shapes, flavors and personalities. You can go with the flow and make thousand friends, or make your own schedule and enjoy the resort when everybody is doing something else (I mean, go to the Jacuzzi when everybody is getting ready for the disco, for example).

So no fears!!! Desire=Paradise!
