Shade at the pool

I am all booked for a total of 8 days. 4 days October then to Cuba for 4 nights and back to Pearl for another 4 nights and looking forward to it. Unfortunately due to skin condition I am unable to lay in the sun, just wondering if there is ample shade by the pool.

Very little to no shade if you are actually in the pool. However, there are plenty of shade umbrellas by the loungers and the pool guys (Jarrod, Javier,etc) do a great job adjusting them throughout the day to ensure you're covered. Just let them know you want shade all day!

You can also sit at the in-pool bar for shade

The quiet end of the pool also has the bed loungers with the sheer tops for shade. Also shade from the palm trees at the quiet end where we do yoga. Shade of course under the palms on the beach.

The front row of chairs at the "active end" of the pool are perfect for you if you can get them. The umbrellas can be moved up to nearly the edge of the pool and provide a shady spot in the pool when it's getting too hot in the sun. As mentioned, the pool bar in shaded in the earlier part of the day. They are great about helping keep your chairs covered is you prefer, and most of the chairs and beds on the beach are covered in some way.
