I heard you have to rent them is this true and if so how much?

Think it was about $20 a day. There was a discount if you booked for the week. If you do the presentation for their vacation package, you got a coupon book with a couple of free day coupons plus other discounts on things at the resort.

No, you don't have to rent them, but it is however an option if you don't want to worry about getting one if you're a late sleeper, or have a location preference.

This comes up all the time; you should really utilize the search feature. I know forum searching isn't the most quick/convenient thing to do, but it helps a lot!

FYI, while there have been some changes to the beach beds recently, we had no trouble getting a beach bed (and there seemed to be no shortage) during Christmas time with 100% occupancy. Don't sweat it.

We just came back on the 15th and we had no problems getting beach beds or loungers....we didn't have to pay $20 either. No problems by the pool either.
