2 Quick Questions...

Hey guys, as I begin to pack for our super soon trip, I have a couple quick questions.. first, I am not sure if I will be dressing up for theme night, I do however have a few outfits or lack their of, for night time. Do people go dressed up but not necessarily "theme" related?

Also, are the theme nights going to change with the Castaway group?

Not everyone dresses for the theme but do dress sexy. However, half the fun is shopping and dressing for the theme. Sometimes I wear something sexy for dinner then go back to my room and change for the disco.

Honesty you can wear absolutely anything OR nothing any night and you will not feel out of place. But dressing sexy is part of the fun, so don't be afraid to go crazy!

Wife and I have been to Desire twice and we are going back in July. They are right half the fun is buying and getting ready for theme nights. Wife has a smoking school girls out fit that I just couldn't wait until we go back to have her wear. So what you buy for the theme nights in Desire can also be fun at home. You just have to sit down and have fun ordering them together. When they came in the mail I couldn't wait for her to try them on...

It was fun when we were shopping for outfits, but when you've spent the time and money trying to fit the theme, it is somewhat disappointing when the majority of people on the night look like they haven't even bothered, it makes you think, what was the point. If everyone dressed sexy then that would make it better, but some either dressed like they were off to Sunday dinner with their parents, of going shopping on a Saturday afternoon.

I think the point was that you had fun shopping and demoing the outfits in anticipation of the trip. I know what you are saying but it's not like the proverbial goof where you think it's a costume party and everyone else shows up in suits and long dresses and they look at you funny. The overriding "theme" (IMHO) is sexy/slutty and I'd say most (women anyway) participate in that. We like planning for the themes but we don't get too wrapped up in the details. For one thing, some of the themes are somewhat vague - Glamorous Night??? - and for another, they may change without notice.

Yeah, we did see *maybe* one or two couples looking a little conservative but if that's where they are in their comfort zone, that's fine with me. When I hiked my wife's micro miniskirt up and grabbed her ass on the dance floor, I forgot all about those guys.

The themes were fun, but I'd say the majority of guests did not participate or at most gave a nod to the theme, with an accessory or something. And, that's fine. Some folks dress up in my office for Halloween, and some don't. Dressing up for the theme is not required, nor should there be any pressure to do so. Some people chose Desire for the sexy elegance of the place, and not for the more silly aspects. Do your own thing, and don't let anyone tell you you're dressed 'wrong". It's your vacation.
