Looks like there will be no more pics of the Mrs. on the statue this Feb trip.

Don't despair. Those who feel they missed an opportunity for such a beautiful picture will still have the opportunity. We just returned on Sunday and the statue is now located under the covered walkway between Pearl and the wine tasting room.

I think Dustin is still getting his breath back from their last few nights at Pearl. They were BUSY.
I don't know of any pictures but it looks pretty close to the promo shot. The bar is not copper and the monster chandelier was about to be reinstalled in it's new dome feature in the middle of the lobby.
The furniture looks nothing like the picture. It's like a bunch of upholstered cubes that slide around when you try to sit back and there are very few places to set a drink down. I think the white fabric might end up more of a tie dyed effect in a while.

Ha! Thanks, danbo.
No pictures as we are uncomfortable taking pics at Pearl even in the vanilla areas. Lobby looks nice, but I prefer the old look as it seemed to fit the tropical setting better. It is very nice having it air conditioned,though. Especially for "Dress to Impress" night when I was in a tux and my wife was in a latex like floor length gown. Danbo's comments are spot on. Not the most comfortable furniture. We spent more time at the lobby bar this time watching the entertainment but not because of the uncomfortable furniture. It just does not feel as inviting. It will be interesting to see how it wears.
