You probably find the music is hit and miss both in the disco and poolside. One reason is that the DJ department is now subcontracted to an outside business. I think that some of them are previous employees but it seems that some days are better than others. When we were there late nov. there was a night when the dance floor was full for the first few songs after the entertainment staff left, good middle of the road, please everyone music. The next was an extremely bad piece of floor clearing crap, and thats the type of music that he kept playing. Maybe one or two couples toughing it out till the place was empty after an hour. I asked him if he cared wether people got up and danced and he just shrugged.
Next night was great, I think it was the owner of the company playing the pool and disco music.
Unfortunately, most people don't express their disappointment to the staff or on the check out questionnaire so as far as the staff know, everything is good (they leave the disco after the nightly show to go get some rest).
Normally this would not be an issue for us because Desire is the only time we go to a disco. It is just awesome seeing the sexy ladies do their thing on the dance floor while wearing some of the hottest outfits (or not

) you will ever see at a resort. It's a drag when this gets cut short because some 25 year old wants to play the stuff he likes regardless of the guests reaction.
