Short shorts for guys?

My wife and I are not really wanting to wear much in the clothes department while we stay. As a guy, will it be alright for me to just wear some really short shorts and maybe a tank top to breakfast and lunch? Will it be odd or out of place?

My opinion, you will be fine! I have worn very short, near transparent shorts for lunch and it hasn't been an issue. As long as your bottom is covered, staff will welcome you with a big smile and ever-present friendliness! Enjoy!

You'll be fine and encouraged. We often see people sitting on towels because they are wearing so little, which is okay with us. Just think hygiene since we are talking about food.

I take a sarong with me to the pool. Wife wears bottoms for beach volleyball and takes a sarong to wear for lunch.

Well there you go. On my previous trips I've been the only sarong wearing man there. Glad to know at least one other appreciates their convenience. Easy on....and....easier off.

I always wear sarongs, never shorts or swimsuits! It's the more practical piece of clothing for both men and women. Most of times I'm the only man wearing a sarong but while I feel comfortable, I will not care! Sarong and t-shirt are the only clothing I wear during day hours.

Love SARONGS ...having been to Pearl twice and having been the only one wearing the "Kilt of the Caribbean" while we were their, this is the most practical piece of daywear you will require .

I'm usually the only guy in one. However, many guys want to know what they are and where to get one. It's too easy, a must in my opinion.
