Let's talk massages.

I would like to get some feedback on massages. I seems that the resort offers them and a third-party, Claudia is highly recommended.

Now, while I plan to enjoy our sexy getaway I don't think the couples massage where we massage each other is of interest to either my wife or myself. I think we both would prefer to relax, maybe at the same time, and both get great massages by a professional.

Should we stick to the resort for really good regular massages?
I heard there is an extra special massage offered at Desire, how do you go about booking/requesting this. What all is involved?

Actually that thread is a bit stale Coke... We can always use an update. Another old thought: any hope of getting a male therapist at Desire. It's been a few years!

The masseuse was untrained, incompetent, unprofessional and ignorant. We politely expressed our disappointment to management whose attitude was simply "too bad - we are charging you regardless of what happened." Tropez, we get regular massages together at the same time...not a sensual "couples" massage. We change in separate locker rooms, but they massage us in the same room. I always get the Relaxing Massage for 50 minutes, he got that one last time & the Deep Tissue one the time before that, which he said was painful...he says that when I do it sometimes too, so you can't go by that completely but know that it really is deep tissue! We've always both had women, didn't even know there was a masseur...we go every July.

Desire massage update. We had not tried the Desire massages on the 2 prior trips, but gave it a try in early August. Veronica and Alex were outstanding We were pleased Desire finally added male therapists and Alex was worth finding. We went back 2 days later for a repeat and will definitely schedule the same for next summer

Thanks, this is great information. We arrive in October and the resort is full our week so I want to book Veronica and Alex before we go - Is there a way to do that? If we get the sensual massage, do you know if we get a "happy ending?"

gizmo, best to call Desire or email them and inquire about setting up a booking for the couples massage at the resort. And no, the staff of Desire won't give you a "happy ending" or at least not intentionally. Still worth doing as a couple and you both very well may experience a happy ending. The warm wax with the oils is very nice.

aandk4fun, it is really hard to put into words what happens during the Claudia massage. She adds so many little details to a traditional couples sensual massage and if you experience the massage with the intent of trying to write a report later, you probably won't enjoy it as much. Pour oil in hands, clap hands together, breath. See, it just doesn't translate very well. It would be a HUGE disappointment for us if we didn't get a couples massage from Claudia on our next stay at Desire. Just do it!

Gizmo - As Denver says there is no "happy ending", but you'll be happy. Massage covers all but about 6-12 square inches or so (personal issue) We had Alex and Veronica on a Friday and had no problem requesting them for the following Monday. I think the spa contact is Erick and he is good at emailing you so you can send your request before arriving. Haven't tried Claudia yet, but will next trip. Advantage of Desire tho is you both get attention simultaneously... Enjoy!

Not being cryptic about the Claudia massage but for me it was a total body orgasm - something I was unaware of nor did I think was possible.

Claudia brings out something that is just so indescribable.

Not taking anything away from the Desire sensual couples massage but Claudia's massage just can't be compared to any regular massage. It's just not a regular massage.

We had the Claudia massage and we just can't wait to get back and experience her again!

Claudia takes her massage techniques and sessions very seriously and if I have forgotten anything about our trip, it certainly wasn't our time spent with Claudia. We use her deep-breathing methods on a day-to-day basis and some of the other techniques she taught us throughout the year.

She "teaches" each of you how and where to touch each other in sensuous, erotic, loving and caring ways. At some points in the massage you will experience a four-hand massage.

Maybe I'm making it sound boring but that's the last thing it was.
