Sex on the beach?

The Desire website contradicts itself about having sex on the beach.

If you look at the FAQ (https://www.desire-resort.com/faq.php), it has the following question:

Is sex allowed at the pool or beach?
No, all forms of sex are prohibited at the pool, beach and public areas of the hotel.

But then there are a couple of things mentioned on their fantasy menu where they mention having sex on the beach with a charge associated with it.

So it seems that if you pay $150 you can have sex on a beach bed I suppose at night (it mentions under the moonlight and stars). Or if you pay $600 you can have someone take a video of you having sex on the beach? I cannot imagine that beach sex is not allowed unless you pay a resort fee, unless the fee covers having the staff be your lookout to make sure you are not seen by the public? And how discreet can making a video on the beach be? If it was at night, the videographer would probably need to setup lights to get a good video.

Doing a quick search on this forum it seems like sex on the beach might be OK if you are discreet and make sure that any members of the general public are not walking by at the time. Perhaps it is probably best to try it late at night?

The reason I ask is that sex on the beach seems to be a common fantasy.

Last fall out of the blue my girlfriend suggested that we try going to Gunnison beach in New Jersey, which is a nude beach. We went there for a few hours, took off our clothes, hung out and took a walk. While we were there my girl friend noticed a used condom on the beach. I am not sure what she was expecting, but maybe she thought she might see some sex going on? I did not think that would be the case, especially not in the middle of the afternoon in New Jersey. Glad to know this....when went last March we went to the beach with another couple and found a gentleman on the beach who looked official. Not knowing the rules regarding sex on the beach at night, I asked him if sex on the beach was allowed. I got a "no problemo." So we proceeded. I wonder if it was truly an infraction or crime (it could be) or just a way to get cash from tourists? I would never want to put resort at risk and ruin a great thing. But having family in Latin America lets just say we have seen police issue "tickets" as a way to get cash for numerous things.

The first time we were at Desire Los Cabos there was a couple who got the Sex on the Beach package there. We think it was more than $150, because it included a dinner on the beach as well, but they had a bed with a canopy and drapes which were closed for the post-dinner activities, and apparently there was a security guard or two who made sure to keep any curious passerbys away from the bed. We don't know if the RM/Pearl offerings are similar to this or not. DLC only offered relaxing massages, so there were certainly differences while it was open.

Were the drapes closed on all 4 sides of the beach bed? I think you would at least want to have the drapes open on the ocean side to enjoy the beach view. Otherwise I am not sure what the point would be. I guess the roof top hot tub would give you more of the outdoor feeling.
