Wife has questions about dinner attire

Postby Desire2424 » Sun Mar 27, 2016 10:05 am

We are planning our first trip to DP to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We've never been to a lifestyle friendly resort but we're looking forward to enjoying the sexy atmosphere together. We are not a lifestyle couple but we love the CO aspect as well as the opportunity for my beautiful wife to wear some sexy clothes for dinner and nightlife. Her question is just HOW sexy is the 'norm', if there even is such a thing? We're having fun shopping for sexier than normal dresses and they don't really take up too much luggage space to bring along but her real question is just how far does 'sexy attire' go?

Thanks,
N

Hey - this will be our first trip as well. But from what all I have read here - I think pretty much anything is fine. Here is our plans.

For dinner at the buffet restaurant:
A- Nice shorts and polo or button up blouses/sneakers, Sundresses
M - Nice shorts and polo/boat shoes

For dinner at the more formal restaurant:
A- sexy club dresses - heels
M - Linen slacks/linen sport coat (pastels)- penny loafers

For Nightlife, we both plan to follow the themes most nights. We've already ordered a few costumes for A on-line. Mine are not nearly as complicated - we plan to go to the Goodwill store (jeez.....) Need pimp and gangster attire. Sexy uniform is already taken care of......

Hope this helps.

My husbands motto is if you can't fit at least 2 dresses in a quart size ziplock, it's too much.. LOL

That being said, I take my time at Desire to wear what I can't wear to dinner here. Regardless of whether it is buffet or otherwise, the sexier the better. If I could get away with wearing the dress back home anywhere (including a strip club) it doesn't go. I really try to embrace the high heels, and short dresses to their fullest. I always dress sexy for dinner, and then change for theme nights. The hubby does linen (minus the sportcoat..ugghh way to hott for that in July) for dinner, and dresses to the fullest for most theme nights, as he feels comfortable. The men get alot of attention when they dress for theme nights.

Lunch/Breakfast is sundress/wrap for me and shorts and t-shirt for him.

The first year my wife had a lot of Tommy Bahama type cruise and resort wear. Very nice clothing that fit her well, but this isn't a Carnival cruise or standard resort. It didn't feel right to her. She ended up hitting the little shop, not cheap, and borrowing a couple of outfits from a new friend. :D

So now she goes with with sexy, sleek and sensuous. Sparkly sequins, a bit to short, she is all legs, and if her boobs hang out so be it. If they have a body painter she gets painted for one evening. Talk about all but eating naked.

A chance to wear what you want without a lot of judgement. Most women know what looks good on them. Here is your chance to take a walk on the wild side, without worrying your neighbor will see you. Have fun with it.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for the helpful responses. After "selling" her on the idea of going to Desire, we booked it and I ordered some hot dresses for her online. My wife is very fit and normally dresses pretty hot so a tight, short dress and red soled pumps are not that out of the norm for a date night at home. The first delivery of 'slut wear' arrived and the plunging neckline, micro mini looked awesome but the sheer material had her concerned about going too far in a place that we've never been to before. I suggested that she simply pack all of the new, sexy stuff along with her normal evening wear, and she can decide what to wear when we get there and see what DP is all about. It's not like those dresses take up an awful lot of luggage space...lol....It's easy to be nude at the beach all day but she was concerned that the hot outfits might be too much in the restaurants or the night club.

THANKS so much for your input. Your comments put her at ease and we're excited to get to DP next month.

Desire2424 ........... It sounds like your clothing order is perfect! I sincerely think and know that there is nothing to bold or sheer to wear! Classy to near naked wear is perfect for dinner and less is great for the disco! Related, my wife has just gotten a couple of underbust corsets/pasties, amazing body stockings, a transparent dress, etc. She looks incredible and her clothing choice will be much appreciated by others! :D
