How do men and ladies dress for dinner

Postby ctrycher » Sat May 21, 2016 7:31 pm

In particular, dinners that require reservations, do men dress in shirt, tie, pants? Or casual dress? And for the ladies, elegant dress or casual, or hardly anything? Working on looking for what we need for our trip this fall

My wife wears a sexy club type dress. Lady's can where anything or next to nothing if they wish. Men must wear long pants and a shirt casual is fine.
I usually where dress pants or nice jeans and a button up the front shirt but never a tie.

I save the tie for the disco. Because you have to be a little classy when you are only wearing boxers all night. :D

Oh and the first time we went we packed way to much cloths. The next time we went our suit case was filled with costumes for the theme nights and very little clothing.

From Desire's site:
Dress Code: Elegant Casual (Men: pants, collared shirt & shoes - Women: classy & sensual) - See more at: https://desireresorts.com/desire-rivier ... aVEFl.dpuf

From experience, women can ware most anything as long as "private parts" are covered even if not hidden. Have seen a full range. For men, long pants and closed toe shoes if you are eating other then the buffet.

The wife wears a sexy dress for dinner before changing into her theme outfit for the night.

The hubby wears linen pants and a button down shirt.

We like when people dress up a bit for dinner. We find that just as sexy after sering them naked & in lingerie all week.

The only rule for the nicer restaurants would be slacks and close toed shoes for the guys. That's about it.

Women wear dressy sexy.

Just a casual shirt, perhaps with a print, not tucked into pants. As long as it has a collar then you'll be fine.

Casual, untucked, short sleeve.

I wear a costume about half the time. When I'm not in a costume I'll wear just black boxer briefs and a bow tie. Many guys wear club cloths just remember the disco gets warm very quickly so wear layers to strip down.

Us too I love seeing all the girls in the sexy dinner wear and wild and sexy costumes in the evening. It's so much fun trying to get a girl naked even if I've seen her naked all day.

I may be wrong and we sadly missed our trip last year, but I thought I heard they upgraded the a/c in the disco & it actually stays cool in there. Anyway, if it gets hot in there, the clothes just start falling off. I consider it a head start for the night time jacuzzi after party.

If not in theme, I've seen & done both. It's whatever you are comfortable with and more importantly what your Mrs. likes to see you in.

We were there three weeks ago and the A/C in the nightclub worked fine. Before most of the crowd moved up it was actually on the cold side but got a bit warmer as the place got full and the dancing began.

We have seen that as well. A dress shirt tucked into linen pants. Not awkward looking at all.
