pool chairs

We just wanted to chime in here that we also agree that this pool chair class system is asinine. We're cool with Premier Members getting complimentary massages, in-room dining, daily champagne in the room, etc., because these are amenities that they can enjoy without it affecting the mass majority of the guest population. Desire management stands to piss off a lot of people if they allow this preferential treatment of the Premier members to adversely affect the rest of us.

We were at Desire June3-10 and didn't have a problem getting a bed. That said I was up at 6 every morning, so I was either 1 or 2 in line awaiting the 7:00am bell! The problem comes in after about 10 people show up because about then no one remembers what order people arrived to get in "line". The day before we left I wrote numbers on a small piece of paper and handed it to people as they came to the pool. It was the most orderly day at the pool. No fighting, everybody just got in order as chairs were handed out. People complimented me all day long for my ingenuity.

All Desire needs is a deli number machine where people take a number as they arrive. Issue solved.

Now if you want a bed you will have to be at the pool before 7:00, must people arrived at the pool at 6:30 and by the time beds were handed out anybody arriving after 7:00 was hard pressed to get a bed.

Returned last night from a week's stay.
Well, we spoke and they listened.
There's a new area of pool decking that is being finished between the exising pool deck and the jacuzzi building. This is where they have placed the round lounge chairs, which has opened up room for a whole second row of pool loungers.
While we were there, we did not have any problem getting a chair by the pool. Spent most of our days by the pool. Did overhear one guy giving Daniel a hard time about his seat, but he was an ass to others as well.

So the big tree is gone and the tattoo guy has been moved elsewhere ?

I am gald to see they have listened but it would have been nice for them to reply to my e-mails about the problem. I sent 3 e-mails to all of the managers and Valtintina, what ever her name is, 3 weeks ago and never received a reply from any of them. Bobby

The tatoo guy is still there, then there's the little area for outside massages, then after that is where the new seating area starts. Yes we did see them removing tree trunks before pouring the concrete.

Are we talking about the area where the towel hut guy was? Has that been moved to somewhere else? Sorry, but I'm confused. Maybe I didn't spend enough time around the pool area.

The new area is facing the ocean and the round pool beds were moved there. Not a huge area but I think they fit around 8 of the round beds there.
