New Desire Suites Project

I just returned from RM on 07/24/16 and a major improvement project is underway. The demolition of building 16 is completed. Soon they will begin to build another building that will contains 4 “Desire Suites”. The work is scheduled to be completed during the month of November and daily construction work will be limited to the hours of 10am to 6pm.

The Desire Suites will be the best rooms available at RM. Each suite will be 2 stories tall, include a Jacuzzi in each room, and share a small walk-in pool. The rooms are supposed to contain large windows (maybe a window wall) for ocean views, separate sitting area, and bar area.

I’m not sure when it will become available for reservations.

When we were there in June they said they were projected to be ready in November of this year. Seems pretty fast.

Construction is still going as originally planned, the suites are scheduled for completion on November 30th and reservations can me made for stays starting December 8th.

wow, i have to say that the owners/company that runs both resorts does an awesome job of constantly taking care of the properties. these look fantastic in the pictures. and i am guessing will offer an up-up scale option for the more well heeled in out community of Desire fans. thanks for update. perhaps this is for a different post, but i hope that they take the option to buy Pearl.

How has the construction impacted the area in front of the suites. It had been a pretty wide open area. Will there be a big wall blocking the area? Any pictures?
