I've been see a few reviews about the smoking around the pool area and outside the restaurants. Is it really that bad?

We are sensitive to the smoke and will say we have had almost no issue with it.

Truly a non-issue, a few people will smoke at the swim up bar but very few.

Yes, people will smoke in public places. We tend to either remove ourselves from the area, close our windows and sliding doors to our rooms if our neighbours are sitting out on their decks or balcony (smoking isn't allowed in your room), or check which way the wind is blowing and make sure the smoke isn't blowing our way. I am extremely sensitive to cigarette smoke and it's very uncomfortable for me to be anywhere near it. It can be quite obnoxious around the bars and around the designated smoking areas where groups may gather. Just the same as it is at home.

We find a lot of people say they only smoke when they drink. Ha, ha.

The only place we noticed it at RM was in the Hot tub. They have no smoking signs all around it, but people did it anyway. Not sure if it is the same issue at Pearl.
