Mid 50's here........we didn't do the Jamaica, Desire, Palm Springs stuff until our two kids were grown.......we've always been pretty hip for our age but it's hard to tell the kids you're going on a Caribbean vacation without them........We wish we could have started earlier but it's not cheap and most younger folks have kids, job pressures, etc. I think that's why you see a bit of an older crowd. We befriended a couple at the old "N Resort" in Jamaica that were in their 70's and they were an inspiration for us to never get old...........enjoy......age is a mind set not a number.

You sound very much like us. Pretty hip for our age and the kids came first and foremost for a while before we could even contemplate an adult / Desire vacation.

Now, though, is a different story, now that the kids all grown up and on their own and we're trying to make up for it by trying to get to Desire as much as we can. Late 50's here and we don't see any reason at this time not to continue visiting Desire properties for many more years to come.

We're similar, kids grown up, in our late 50's but we've been told we look a lot younger if not for gray hair.
Our 2nd trip to Pearl coming up. Can't wait. We've done all three Desires, Sea Mountain, Jamaica, and even Cap d'Agde, but we aren't swingers. The man, especially, enjoys the sexually charged atmosphere, being nude, and a little sex in public.

Our first trip to Desire (RM) was when I turned 50 and then we went the next year to Pearl. My husband is 9 years older than I am. We went away with friends the last couple of years but we can't wait to go back to Pearl again in March!! There were all ages but mostly 30s to 70s and everyone was incredibly friendly! That's what will bring us back. I was very concerned the first time with body, age and if I would feel comfortable but it didn't take long to feel comfortable and not concerned in the least! We talked with a lot of people much younger than us and every age. Go for it... you will not regret it!

Like many say, if you are hip, fun, interesting and ready to enjoy whatever you are into, you'll have a BLAST!!

We are 75, were at Pearl earlier this year and are going back early next year.
We consider ourselves the "Poster Childern for Sex in Your Seventies".
Age in only a number, but good sex can last a lifetime and it makes life worth living.
With the like minded friends we met at Pearl, age difference mattered very little.

When in their 20s, one of our kids commented that sex when you're in your 40's seems "gross".
I replied that while it shouldn't be compared to sex when you're in your 20's, it is the only option we had open to us (at the time).
Now, even that option is gone, but now we're real keen on sex in your 50s and 60s and hopefully 70s, etc

And tough luck for the kids, but we're spending some of their inheritance at Desire!
I remember a couple from Desire who were a few years old than us who said they were at Desire on a "SKI HOLIDAY".

A lot of people are worried about the age of the Desire visitors. We say who cares what ones age is when you visit Desire, after all one is there to have a wonderful time no matter what your age is. When we go to Desire we go to have a great time with other like minded people that are there to enjoy themselves. We don't go with the idea that our trip will be one long week of playing with others. As said we go to have a great time and if we meet some people that want to play it is a unplanned pleasure. If they are looking only for ideal looks and ages maybe they shouldn't go to Desire as Desire is a good cross section of people. There are younger and older people, good looking and average looking, fit and some not so fit people but they are all there for one reason and that is to have a wonderful trip while one vacation.
We plan on trips to Desire when we are in our 90's if we are able. So many people are worried that they don't meet what others think they should be. Once again we say who cares as chances are you will never see these people again, so live your life the way you want not they way others think you should. After all if you worried what others think you would not be going to Desire but to a YMCA camp.
This is our view and may not reflect what others think. Once again go to Desire with an open mind and plan to have a wonderful time no matter what the age of the other guest.

We stumbled onto the nude beach at couples Negril in our late 20s. By our early 30s we had been to many couples, hedo, and DRM. Mid 30s now and glad we did so early. Be at pearl in mid March.
