Desire check-out policies.

We just arrived from DP and we are already booking our next trip, hehe

Anyway, it seems our return flight will be around 7:30, and we were wondering what were the resort's polocies on this. I know room check out is 12:00-1:00 PM, but what happens with the remaining hours we have to kill between check out time and the flight time?

Do we have to LEAVE the resort after check out and kill the 5 hours at the airport?
Are we allowed to remain at the lobby?
Are we allowed to keep enjoying the resort until the airport shuttle arrives?
For free?
For a fee?

Any help will be appreciated!

You will have to vacate your room but are welcome to stay at the resort until your transfer arrives. You can keep your luggage up front and keep a check in bag in the spa so you can clean up before you leave if you wish. We have also put our luggage in friends room until we left and vice versa.

If they are not overbooked, they let you stay in your room until your shuttle comes (and the rest of the resort obviously). We just got home today. We extended our checkout without a fee. Always done it in the past..... but this is the first time we were allowed to stay in our room. I think the limit is 6pm late checkout.
