Wait List?

Has anyone ever had any success placing your name on the waitlist for rooms at DRM? The passion suites are booked for my preferred travel dates so I put myself on the wait list. I've done it twice before with no success.

We've done it once with no success as well with the Passion Suites too.

We've been on the waitlist twice for the Jacuzzi Suite, and gotten one both times. Depending how long until your trip, YMMV. You're basically counting on someone to cancel, or reschedule. So, if it's 6 months away, you might have a shot. Also, be prepared to answer the question of whether you'd like to have the upgrade for only part of your visit. We had that option once, but held out longer, and eventually got the Suite for the whole stay.

We've been on the wait list once and tried every thing we could think of and didn't get a room. We even asked to book the small hospitality room for 1 night.

We would've actually been just fine sleeping in the spa one night, or find some friends to crash with
