Hot Havana Nights - Costume Ideas

Planning our first trip to DRM in a few weeks and are looking forward to the theme nights. We figure this is a great way to experience all the resort has to offer. Struggling to find an outfit for the Hot Havana Nights event. All the online searches are typical dresses. Does anybody have ideas? Thanks for the help.

I've got some tropical flower pasties to wear. Hubby will wear linen pants and a white fedora. Rest of the outfits are TBA!

Following this tread. I am having trouble with Hot Havana Nights too. My hubby is all set with white linen pants, floral shirt and fedora. I am finding some cute floral club dresses, but want something sexier. Thinking maybe a white/fringed cover up with some hot pink or turquoise pasties, thong and flower in hair??

Having spent last week at Desire, this was a very tame night for dress. Most men wore linen with a colorful shirt. The women wore flowery dresses, some more sheer than others. The fun came watching all this come off at the disco.

That's what I was thinking would happen with that particular theme night, just doesn't have the same sexy vibe as the others, too close to what you could wear in vanilla world. However the bold part above makes up for it I'm sure We'll see how it plays out for us in May, my wife has the creative juices flowing to come up with something provocative staying at least somewhat within the theme. If I can pull off my costume, that will be something as well, something different anyway lol.

Read in this forum a few days ago about how a lot of guys won't dress up for theme nights even though their better half does. The poster said it made them think they were dressed for going to a neighborhood BBQ. Perhaps Havanna nights is intended to be more "inclusive"?

We are planning to bring something for each of the five nights we are there but this one does have me a bit stumped, and I'd like to find something other than one of my Tommy Bahamas. Will keep following and hopefully learn.

I've decided I'll wear something sexy and bright and floral. Something I definitely wouldn't wear on a regular day. And I'm sticking to my no bras while at DRM rule I created for myself, just to keep D happy. I have no clue what to bring for him...maybe a white linen or floral shirt and khaki shorts? No way am I asking him to wear long pants in Mexico in September. Lol

One of our most memorable night at Desire was when there was a 5 foot tall stack of clothing on the bar at the Disco and most of the women had some random guys boxers on. We have no clue what the theme that night was but that was a good night.

It's not the theme that matters it's what you do with it.

After going to TTR last year for our first time to a place like that. I'm super glad I dressed up! I had way more fun and I got way more attention from not only my GF but other ladies! If you're a guy that's not dressing up then you're missing out!
