Water launch for Hobie cat is unchanged.
There are some rock showing on the beach, nothing sharp.
Lots of sand close to shore in the water.
Here's some pictures from the north end.

I know the place has recovered from hurricanes and such in the past so what was done then and does the resort have any kind of a plan? It is just a shame to see the beach just slowly erode over the past few years. We enjoy both the pool and beach areas but this past fall we didn't spend much time on a beach bed since it was so bad and not near as social as in the past, especially since CiCi's bar was closed down. It also makes for a more crowded pool area and chairs are more of a premium than ever. Hopefully something can and will be done to help.

LOL...
It was my first day back to work and my wife was home and texted me that she found some cheap flights and there were a few rooms available so we decided to come down for a few days.

Nice, sounds exactly how we ended up at RM in November. When's the next trip? We are going to be there May 6 with the YNOTs group - this time for a week instead of just 3 nights. Come to think of it that would be an awesome time for y'all to go back Return to General Discussions about Desire Riviera Maya
