Beach update

The South end with the volley ball is unchanged.
Water launch for Hobie cat is unchanged.
There are some rock showing on the beach, nothing sharp.
Lots of sand close to shore in the water.

They have been temporarily relocated back up on the grass behind the seawall

TO OUR DISAPPOINTMENT THE SWINGING BEDS ARE NO LONGER WHERE THEY ONCE WERE(THEY ARE ALL STATIONARY)...MAN...WE LOVED THOSE BEACH SWINGING BEDS SO RELAXING

Is there anything that can be done to reclaim the beach? I mean, I know you are fighting nature and water, 2 pretty strong forces but is dredging an option? I know the place has recovered from hurricanes and such in the past so what was done then and does the resort have any kind of a plan? It is just a shame to see the beach just slowly erode over the past few years. We enjoy both the pool and beach areas but this past fall we didn't spend much time on a beach bed since it was so bad and not near as social as in the past, especially since CiCi's bar was closed down. It also makes for a more crowded pool area and chairs are more of a premium than ever. Hopefully something can and will be done to help.

Oh no, the beds are relocated and Cici's bar is gone? How sad, that was one of the best places to be during the day to relax. Is it because of the erosion that is happening? We were there last December 2015 and it seemed fine. Bummer

They have only been temporarily relocated back up on the grass behind the seawall
CiCi's bar is currently being rebuilt - don't worry - lol

It was my first day back to work and my wife was home and texted me that she found some cheap flights and there were a few rooms available so we decided to come down for a few days.

Nice, sounds exactly how we ended up at RM in November. When's the next trip? We are going to be there May 6 with the YNOTs group - this time for a week instead of just 3 nights. Come to think of it that would be an awesome time for y'all to go back Still seems like an eternity away though. Anyway, have a fun few days and be sure to make them count lol

We just booked, and only have a few more hours (17hrs ish) before we can cancel without penalty.

We need to know if there is a beach or is it gone? This is a deal breaker for my wife!!!!
