We were there in early May and from what I remember it wasn't bad - there was some but seems like they did a good job managing it - it was certainly no issue.
We currently are at Desire Pearl, and the seaweed isn't a propblem at all. The beach is cleaned in the morning, and stays clean for the rest of the day, unlike last year when staff was cleaning all day without any effect. _____________________________ Hans & Ellis.
Last week's tropical storm Cindy caused some beach erosion, and the water has been quite sandy. Currently situation is improving, and the water is getting more and more clear every day. ______________________________ Hans & Ellis.
We just got back and the seaweed was all over the beach and floating in the water. The staff was hauling it off all day with a rake and a wheelbarrow. They did the best they could, but it was a never ending battle. Didn't bother us much though.
